Fundraising

From our individual annual membership dues of $47,  $27 is sent to CFRW and NFRW to support our state and national “parents.” Therefore, our club needs to raise additional funds throughout the year through a variety of activities—our president calls them FunRaising or FriendRaising. In the past, we have held an annual BBQ Picnic at various members’ homes. In 2020 and 2021 we held yard sales. Also in 2021, instead of a picnic, we held our first-ever, highly successful High Tea. During the year at our monthly meetings, we have drawings for beautiful gift baskets and hold our exciting Marble Madness (similar to 50/50). We also sell the occasional pristine previously-read political books and have little boxes on our lunch tables for donations to our student fund.

Funds supplement our operating expenses and additionally are used to support attendance at conferences and conventions, membership activities, the Gary Sinise Foundation and the Young America’s Foundation (Reagan Ranch), Americanism's Constitutional Scholars Essay Competition, speakers’ mileage, hospitality, shows and fairs, student development, and other necessities.
